Advice
Enhancing Your Streaming Experience
To ensure the highest quality of live streaming for the funeral or memorial service, we kindly ask all attendees to turn off their mobile phones or set them to airplane mode during the ceremony. This small but crucial action helps prevent disruptions to the streaming signal, allowing for clearer and more stable video quality.
Experience has shown that mobile devices, when active, can significantly affect the stream’s bit rate and overall clarity. For those unable to attend in person, a seamless high-definition stream is vital for feeling connected to the service.
Please assist us in delivering a high-quality broadcast by adhering to this guideline. Your cooperation not only improves the streaming experience for online viewers but also maintains the respectful atmosphere of the service.
We appreciate your understanding and support in making each service accessible and reverent for all who join, near and far.
Camera Placement for Optimal Viewing
For venues with a balcony, a single camera setup should be enough. Positioning the camera on the balcony provides a clear, unobstructed view, allowing for strategic zooming during key moments of the service, especially when attendees stand. This setup ensures that all significant parts of the service are captured beautifully and without interruption.
If a dual camera setup is preferred, we suggest the second camera be positioned to face the audience. This arrangement captures the reactions and participation of the congregation, adding a dynamic and inclusive element to the streaming service.
In addition to the standard cameras, we always bring a pocket-sized action camera as a safety measure. This extra camera captures an alternative angle, which not only serves as a backup but can also be included in your archive edit. This ensures that no key moments are missed and enhances the overall depth of your memorial service video.
Choosing a multi-camera setup enriches the viewing experience, offering a dynamic and thorough representation of the service for both live viewers and those watching the recorded version later.
Checking for International Firewall Restrictions
When planning to stream services to countries known for stringent internet regulations and firewalls, such as Russia, China, or Dubai, it is vital to ensure that these locations do not block or restrict the streaming connection. We provide a 5-minute test stream from our office, which can be arranged at a time that suits you, to test for any potential firewall issues.
This pre-event test is crucial for identifying and overcoming any barriers imposed by national firewalls, ensuring uninterrupted service and access. By confirming in advance that the stream can penetrate any firewall restrictions, we guarantee a seamless viewing experience for all international attendees.
